Endowment

The Foundation's assets include a general endowment fund managed under the direction of the Board of Directors of the Foundation.

Restricted

Certain assets are held in restricted funds, including the "Fund for the Betterment and Advancement of the Deaf Person," the income from which is used for the benefit of the deaf community in the Rome area. Another fund provides specific benefits for children who are hospitalized.

Donor-Advised

The Foundation's Board of Directors has authorized the establishment of other funds that may be of interest to donors, such as Donor-advised Funds, where income would be paid to charitable organizations and for charitable causes recommended to the Foundation by the donor.

Designated Funds

In addition, the Foundation is authorized to establish Designated Funds, where the Donor designates, at the time the fund is established, the beneficiaries of the income from investment of Fund assets.
