Who Can Give to the Rome Community Foundation?

The Rome Community Foundation is a means for anyone to invest, through gifts of any amount, in worthwhile community pursuits. The Foundation has been the recipient of bequests from trusts and estates of Rome area residents. Gifts are accepted from individuals, families, organizations, agencies, corporations, trusts, estates and other foundations.

The Foundation also manages the Stevens Kingsley Fund, a Fund established when the Stevens Kingsley Foundation was dissolved and its investments forwarded to the Rome Community Foundation. Its funds are invested and grants approved as recommended by a Board of Advisors to the Fund.

Persons may give money or securities during their lifetime, or may name The Rome Community Foundation in their will or trust as a beneficiary of all or a portion of their estate.

Because of the Foundation's permanent nature and tax-exempt status, memorial and honorary gifts are especially appropriate and encouraged.

For information on how to donate to the Foundation, or for information on applying for grants, check out How to Donate. You can also contact the executive director Victor Fariello by email at VFariello@romecommunityfoundation.org or by contacting any Foundation Officer or Board Member. Checks should be made payable to "The Rome Community Foundation" and sent to PO Box 609, Rome, NY 13442-0609.
